Rachel Hawn Jacklin, violin
Matthew Jacklin, marimba
The comfort of an old friend and the curiosity of something new are both within the experience of this recital. Rachel will play classics that never get old, while Matthew introduces exciting contemporary composers such as Joseph Schwantner. Then hear violin and marimba combined. Rachel, a frequent EMAS performer, earned her Master’s degree in violin performance, and her husband Matthew, new to EMAS, earned his Master’s in percussion performance.
