I grew up in Minnesota, Michigan and Delaware and have always been attracted to the 4 seasons you experience in the East Mountain area of Albuquerque.
My husband and I moved to the East Mountain area in 1981. We owned a pharmacy in the Cedar Crest area until 1984 and I began working in real estate in 1984. In 1987 I went into partnership with another local realtor and, when my partner moved on, I kept the agency until 1995 when Peter Parnegg, owner of Coldwell Banker Legacy approached me with an offer to buy my agency and keep me as an agent and a limited partner.
My husband and I have a daughter that we have raised in the East Mountain area and it has a wonderful small town, rural feel and yet it is full of the arts and great restaurants. We have never considered moving anywhere else. We are very active in our church and in the community. In my free time I play tennis, I’ m on a couple of teams, and I have recently started Mandolin lessons.
I attended college in Albuquerque and majored in Math. I feel this background is responsible for my problem solving skills, which I have put to good use in the real estate business. I enjoy working with people and matching their wants and needs with property that might suit them.
I have received several awards and honors in the real estate business over the years. Some of these include Rookie of the Year in 1984, a nomination for Realtor of the Year in I994, and Top Producer with Coldwell Banker Legacy since 1995. I have been a member of the Presidents Circle, which is a national realtor award, and have received 2 consecutive Customer Service Awards. Most recently I have been made a member of the President’s Club.
I consider myself a “people” person. I enjoy meeting new people and watching their excitement in finding the “perfect” home or property. I never tire of the process in making this happen.
